How to Set Up Whoogle on Nife Deploy

Whoogle is a self-hosted, ad-free, privacy-respecting Google search proxy. It lets you search the web without being tracked or profiled. Deploy it in just a few clicks using Nife Deploy.

Access the Platform#

Navigate to OpenHub#

  • On the sidebar, click on OpenHub to explore available applications.

Search for the App#

  • In the OpenHub search bar, type Whoogle.
  • Locate the Whoogle application from the results.

Start Deployment#

  • Hover over the Whoogle app card.
  • Click on Deploy.

Wait for Deployment Completion#

  • The deployment process usually takes a few moments.
  • Once completed, you will see an Open App button.

Accessing Whoogle#

  • Click Open App to access your Whoogle search portal.

How to Use Whoogle#

1. Search the Web Privately#

  • Type your query in the search bar.
  • Whoogle fetches results directly from Google, without ads or tracking.

2. No Personalization#

  • Results are not biased by cookies or tracking history.
  • Everyone sees clean, unbiased results.

3. Configure Settings#

  • Click the (Settings) icon.
  • Options include:
    • SafeSearch levels
    • Search language
    • Dark mode

4. Bookmark Your Instance#

  • Use your deployed Whoogle URL as your default search engine.

  • Add it to your browser for one-click private searching.
