How to Set Up ArangoDB from Oikos


ArangoDB is a powerful open-source multi-model database that combines the flexibility of documents, graphs, and key-value data models in one engine. With Oikos OpenHub, deploying ArangoDB is fast and effortless.

Access the Platform#

Navigate to OpenHub#

  • From the sidebar, click on OpenHub to view available applications.

Search for the App#

  • Use the OpenHub search bar and enter ArangoDB.
  • Locate the ArangoDB application in the list of results.

Start Deployment#

  • Hover over the ArangoDB app card.
  • Click on Deploy.
  • Before deployment starts, you'll be prompted to set an environment variable.
  • Enter your desired password in the provided field and click Submit to proceed.

Wait for Deployment Completion#

  • The deployment process may take a few minutes.
  • Once it’s ready, the Open App button will be visible.

Accessing ArangoDB#

  • Click Open App to open the deployed instance of ArangoDB.
